Amed Rosario sure picked a good time to crank his first career homer.
With his New York Mets all knotted up, 6-6, with the Philadelphia Phillies in the ninth inning Friday night, the recently promoted 21-year-old unloaded on a 96-mph fastball from Hector Neris, smacking a game-winning solo shot over the fence in right-center at Citizens Bank Park for his first MLB home run.
"It's a dream come true," Rosario told reporters through an interpreter following the Mets' 7-6 victory.
